Minimum Height

36 Inch Minimum to Ride alone. Riders under 36 inches require a chaperone to assist them. Chaperone must be at least 36 inches, 8 years old and responsible enough to control the actions of the passenger. Chaperones 8-13 years old must be PAID. Chaperones 14 and over may enjoy this ride for free.

Hours

Opens at 11am. Depending on the time of year, can close anywhere from 5pm-7pm depending on what time the sunsets.

Enjoy a leisure train ride aboard the Belmont Express.

Choose one of four wagons and relax as you take a ride through the Midway and take in all the sights Belmont Park has to offer!

The Belmont Express is a mini-express train manufactured by Wattman Train & Trams. The train is equipped with a low gear differential to enable you to pull four loaded wagons easily. The Belmont Express can carry up to 16 passengers and travels the perimeter of the park and down the midway, offering an additional ride option for our youngest guests. The ride is also equipped with a smoke stack that shoots fog and all the bells and whistles a train has!
